Gradebook Systems
In the last 2 districts I have served with, we have used Skyward Grading Systems.
We currently have an iCafe Studio
(online District Training through YouTube like Videos and Cheatsheets)
Since I have school access, I am able to create school reports and am often asked to do so.
Most gradebook systems are basically a manipulation of Databases - and from
there....I can do almost anything.
For example - we needed a way, district wide to pull all students with a 90+ Semester average in core classes minus electives, except for those which counted for high school credit.
I was able to figure this out and write a set of directions so the district would have it. In addition, we also used these directions to creat a report for UIL sports so coaches didn't have to have students take a P/F Card to all their teachers each 6 weeks.
Now, one report can be pulled for all members of a team, club, NJHS, and the coach or sponsor can see it at a glance without sorting through cards.
